NCURA Region VI/VII Regional Meeting Participant Support Travel Stipend Key Travel Support Information Submissions for this travel support, to attend NCURA VI/VII Regional Meeting 2025 in Costa Mesa, CA, of up to $2500, will be reviewed if received between September 8 and midnight September 21st. The selection committee will review the week of September 22nd with a goal of notifying selected applicants by end of day September 26. This timeline will allow selected applicants to secure the early bird registration rate and get the conference hotel block rate – we request that once notified you take advantage of these rates immediately. Note that National Science Foundation and entity (University of Idaho and Southern Utah University) travel policies apply. To comply with these requirements, the hotel rate should be the conference hotel room block rate or a comparable rate with an acceptable reason for not booking with the conference hotel. The letter of support must be signed by your direct supervisor or an appropriate signer in your leadership hierarchy.* Process: Attendance at the AI4RA workshop on November 2nd is required to receive this travel support. The extra cost can be included in the reimbursement request and would cover per diem for that date and a hotel night for early arrival to attend the Sunday workshop. Receipts must be provided for all expenses except per diem, which will be calculated based on the GSA for the meeting location and arrival and departure times. The stipend will cover standard travel costs for this meeting, including GSA rate per diem, hotel stay, ground transportation to and from the airport (if relevant), airfare (see note about travel policies), and other standard travel fees allowable under NSF and university travel policies.
