Vandalizer v4.7 Release
Vandalizer v4.7 just released: Here are the major changes
Validation and Tuning Are Now One Thing
Validation and auto-tuning have been combined into a single unified flow called “Validate & Improve,” and it now leads both the Workflow and Extraction Validate tabs (no more separate confusing surfaces). Long validation checks now run in the background, so they won’t time out, and your results stick around when you switch tabs. You’re also in full control of the test set: edit the auto-generated questions and pick or remove individual test cases before tuning starts. A live timer ticks during runs and you can cancel anytime. Results now come with plain-English explainers so non-technical users can actually understand what they mean. Stale validation plans get flagged automatically with a one-click regenerate, and you can export raw per-replicate results when you need the receipts.
Projects Keep Each Effort in Its Own Space
You can now scope your Automations and Knowledge Bases to a specific Project, and that scope sticks even after a page reload. Pinned tools stay where you put them, so each grant, proposal, or initiative gets its own tidy workspace instead of everything piling into one view.
Folders Can Now Do Things
From a folder’s actions menu you can now:
- Move it
- Export it as a ZIP
- Ask about folder — chat scoped to just those documents
- Run a workflow across its contents
- Add it to a Knowledge Base
All in one click, without having to touch the files inside individually.
Smarter, More Honest Chat
When you ask something the Knowledge Base doesn’t cover, the assistant now admits it doesn’t know instead of inventing an answer. Source citation pills are also now clickable: you can tap one to jump directly to where an answer came from.
Workflow Improvements
- Saved Prompts and Formatters can now be reused as building blocks inside workflow steps
- Each step shows its last-run output right in the editor, so you always know what actually ran
Under the Hood (Reliability & Polish)
- Fewer intermittent 502 errors when adding URLs or generating test queries
- Knowledge Base updates now refresh without requiring a full page reload
- Improved error reporting throughout the app
- A new search bar for admins in the Demo applications list
